Career Opportunities
This program is primarily for the completion of pre-requisite courses for transfer to and preparation for Allied Health programs such as Dental Hygiene, Sonography, Occupational Health Assisting, etc. The course sequence can be customized to meet virtually any Allied Health program requirements.
4-year Institution
The AS in Health Science is designed to transfer smoothly to a 4-year institution (or 2 year applied science programs) where graduates prepare for a professional career as:
- Physical Therapy Assistant
- Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Speech Language Pathology Assistant
- Sonography
- Radiology Technician
- Dental Hygiene
- Respiratory Therapist
