Answer: Murray State College has a rich history in southern Oklahoma. The college opened its doors in 1908 as Murray State School of Agriculture. In 1924, the college expanded its curriculum to include college-level courses. The school granted its first associate degrees that same year. As curriculums evolved, the school went through name changes, finally becoming Murray State College in 1972. Murray State College is not new to online learning and has been working with online students for decades!
